Our free-range geese are raised with exceptional care at Deep Clough Farm, nestled in the picturesque Forest of Bowland, Lancashire. Only a small number are reared each year exclusively for Christmas, ensuring outstanding quality and attention to welfare. The birds roam freely in the farm’s paddocks during the day, enjoying fresh air and natural surroundings, before resting safely in spacious barns at night.
They’re fed a 100% GM-free diet of cereals and vegetable protein, completely free from additives, drugs, or growth promoters. Under the careful supervision of farmer Nathan Brown, the geese grow slowly and naturally, developing beautifully rich meat with a deep, distinctive flavour that makes for a truly memorable festive roast.
Each bird is hand-plucked and hung to allow the flavour to mature fully, before being prepared in the traditional way — carefully wrapped and boxed with giblets included. All orders include free delivery, with every goose arriving fresh and in perfect condition on 23rd December. Weights are approximate and may vary slightly.
