Most people agree the shoulder carries more flavour than the leg, and when cooked low and slow the results are truly exceptional. Like the rest of our Heather Fed range, these lambs are raised in the Forest of Bowland – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Lancashire. Roaming freely in hefted flocks high on the fells, they graze on natural heather and gorse, which gives the meat its distinctive, rich flavour. Each shoulder is carefully trimmed and prepared, ready for you to place straight in the oven.
Perfect for a slow-roasted Sunday centrepiece with rosemary and garlic, or pulled apart for tender lamb shoulder tacos with fresh herbs and yoghurt.
