Our pigs in blankets are a proper Christmas essential — each one made by wrapping our award-winning Albert’s Originals chipolata in premium streaky bacon. We keep them slightly larger than the typical supermarket version, giving you more of that juicy sausage-to-crisp bacon balance that makes them so irresistible.
The chipolatas are made to Albert Matthews’s original 73-year-old recipe, using prime belly and shoulder cuts of free-range pork. Lightly seasoned with our secret blend of herbs and spices, they’ve earned multiple Great Taste Awards and remain our most popular sausage in the shop. Perfect for roasting alongside your turkey or serving as a festive snack straight from the tray.
