Our Caldecott Barn-Reared White Turkeys are produced by the Caldecott family on their 40-acre farm in Wythall, Worcestershire, where they’ve been rearing birds since 1933. Now under the care of third-generation farmer Robert Caldecott, the family continues to uphold the same high standards of welfare and craftsmanship that have made their name synonymous with quality.
Each spring, day-old British White Turkeys arrive on the farm and are raised in spacious, open barns that were once home to cattle and sheep. These light, airy buildings provide natural daylight, fresh air, and plenty of clean, dry bedding — creating the perfect environment for healthy, contented birds. Fed on a wholesome vegetarian diet free from additives or growth promoters, they grow slowly and naturally, developing succulent meat with a delicate, creamy flavour.
