Our Heather Fed lamb is sourced from Deep Clough Farm in the Forest of Bowland a little known designated area of outstanding beauty in North East, Lancashire. The lamb breeds used are Dalesbred and Swaledale which are hardy animals feeding high up on the fells in hefted flocks on the gorse and heather surrounding the farm. It is this natural environment which helps to produce fantastic quality lambs which when combined with our ageing process and skilled butchery produces an incredible product.
The lamb racks from our Heather Fed lamb were given 3 gold Stars in the 2012 great Taste Awards and voted in the Top 50 products and the legs was given a 2 star gold in the 2012 Great Taste Awards both of these products are included in the box.
