Our whole legs of heather fed lamb are perfect for those making Sunday roast for larger numbers.
The lambs are reared in the beautiful Forest of Bowland as part of a hefted flock; roaming free and grazing high up on the fells . It is this combination of the rugged terrain, gorse and heather that the animals feed on which gives the meat a delicious flavour and helped us to win 2 gold stars in the 2012 Great Taste Awards.
Our skilled butchers prepare the leg by removing any excess fat leaving the bones in helps with a more au natural type presentation and adds flavour during cooking.
